BTS is here to help its fans beat the lockdown blues with a free two-day concert series, ‘Bang Bang Con.’ The concert is set to live stream on YouTube on April 18 and 19. The marathon will kick off at noon (KST) on Saturday, and over the weekend four shows will be streamed every day from eight concerts of the band recorded between 2014 to 2018.
The concert lineup includes the South Korean sensation’s, Most Beautiful Moment In Life On Stage show and its epilogue from 2015 and 2016. The fans will also get a chance to dance to the tunes of the Love Yourself World Tour show and The Wings Tour from 2017 among others.
The band has postponed and cancelled many of its shows and also the tour of its latest album — Map Of The Soul: 7 — amid the worldwide restrictions on gatherings and social distancing measures being implemented by governments across the globe. The total number of cases of the novel coronavirus in South Korea have crossed 10,000 with over 200 fatalities so far.
This is not the first time through the coronavirus crisis that the band has jumped in to motivate its fans. It had earlier started Korean language classes for people to take from home.
Let’s be honest, the band’s quarantine game is extremely strong because if this is not the perfect way to unwind after a long week then we don’t know what is. Right now, is the best time to get all the BTS ARMY merchandise out! Let the K-Pop fun in, and bid adieu to the lockdown blues.
