Vegan delights by over 150 exhibitors, health and fitness talks, cooking demos, and parenting sessions — the Ahimsa Fest 2020 is here to promote veganism in the country. This initiative organised by Mumbai’s Ahimsa Parmo Dharma Group, aims to bring under one roof the who’s who of the vegan world.

At the event you will get to attend a talk session on animal rights by Varda MehrotraExecutive Director, Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO) India, a speech by Canada-based Dr Tushar Mehta on the impacts of animal breeding on climate change, demo fitness sessions by athletes like Sandeep Kumar, Abhishek Thevar and Gunjan Sharma, and more

The idea of the festival is not just to simply put up vegan delicacies on display, but to inform people about the importance of embracing a vegan lifestyle. Here you will get to taste some lip-smacking delicacies that’ll surely put an end to the myth that vegan food can’t be delicious. The event will showcase vegan alternatives to various products like leather, cosmetics, and etc.

After taking in all possible knowledge about the concept of veganism, you can shop from zero-waste stalls, and take home your own vegan kit to kick-start a cruelty-free life.

The event will take place on January 26 from 10 am to 10 pm, at Holy Family Grounds, Andheri East, Mumbai. You can register at ahimsafest.org.
