While we are most excited about Sir David Attenborough’s class, many other celebrities will also join the series. Footballer Sergio Aguero will teach Spanish, physicist Brian Cox will teach about the solar system, and actor Danny Dyer will give history lessons on King Henry VIII. Every celebrity will deliver six episodes of 20 minutes each, which will be aired every day. This will also include classes for different age groups. You can stream these lessons on BBC Bitesize Daily, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Red Button.

Alice Webb, director of BBC Children’s & Education, said, “We’re proud that the BBC can bring together so many people to offer such a wide-ranging package of support to help children and parents right across the UK at such a challenging time,” as reported on BBC.com.

Talking about BBC’s promise to its audience, he further added, We said the BBC would be there for people through this crisis, and we meant it. It’s vital that every child is able to continue learning – and the lessons we’re putting on will make sure they have fun at the same time.

At a time when everything looks uncertain and there are no definitive dates as to when things will get back to normal, this initiative will help the schoolkids keep in touch with their studies. After all, as we’ve said before, Coronavirus is a unique condition for the world, and it will take unique approaches and initiatives to tackle it. We’re very certain about this initiative by BBC being one of such unique steps. If you wish to keep more company with Sir David Attenborough’s magical works during this lockdown, we recommend checking out David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef. It will lead you to the majestic, mesmerising, and mysterious world of ocean.
